Tuition Rates and Extra Curricular Fees
As stewards of the church, your children are allowed tuition reductions. Orthodox students from other parishes pay full price per student; as the discount reflects Saint Lawrence Church’s financial and physical support of the Academy. There is also a one-time extra-curricular fee per child which covers actual hard costs of hot lunch, camp, and school photos, which is subject to change depending on what activities are scheduled for the year and is collected at the beginning of the year.
Tuition per month (based on a 10 month school year – Sept to June)
Tuition due monthly by the 5th.
Tuition Rates:
The school board has made slight adjustments to this coming year’s tuition:
First child: $600 per month
2nd child: $480 (20% discount)
3rd child: $360 (40% discount)
4th child: $240, (60% discount)
and subsequent registered students are $240, (60% discount).
The academy uses FACTS, an online automatic payment system, for monthly tuition collection.
All families are required to register with FACTS after determining their tuition amount for the year.

- Returning families (especially those that have used the FACTS system before) – Please review your FACTS account to update general information if there have been changes or if you would like your automatic deduction to be made from a different bank account than you used a few years ago. You can access your account through the above link.
- New families (including families that have not used the FACTS system before) – Please go to the link above and select "Create a new FACTS account". There is an online form you will need to fill out.
Extra Curricular fees (not included in tuition)
Required, Due by September 1st:
Grades 1-4: $75
Grades 5-8: $275
Financial Aid
Steward families needing further assistance are required to apply to the FAST system which many schools use. The metrics used by the FAST system are tailored to the specific location of the school. So, for instance, a school in Santa Cruz County is determined differently than a school in, say, rural Kentucky.
For the upcoming year, we are requiring that every family follow through on the FAST system to qualify for additional aid beyond the steward discount. Based on that, tuition will be determined. Fees will need to be paid separately at the beginning of the year per usual.
For families needing financial assistance in excess of what FAST determines, we are requesting they investigate family support systems and other outside means, as the academy budget cannot support additional aid.
