Drive For Schools is Back!
Drive for Schools is an annual fundraiser that has raised over $10 million for local schools since it began in 2005. We hope you’ll join!
For those of you who might be unfamiliar with the Drive For School fundraiser, we'll fill you in. Drive for Schools was founded by Subaru of Santa Cruz in 2005 and historically offered a car as the grand prize. It is now sponsored entirely by the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and the grand prize is $25,000 cash! In addition to the incredible grand prize, five $1,000 cash prizes and almost 100 other fun and valuable prizes. They provide the tickets, the promotional material, the prizes, EVERYTHING! and all we have to do is sell the tickets. What? Seriously! And the best part of this fundraiser is that our school gets to keep every dollar we earn! Thank you Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for this opportunity! (to read more about DFS check out the Boardwalk's website: https://beachboardwalk.com/drive-for-schools/)
You don't have to be present to win or to even buy a ticket! As long as we have a name and address to write on the ticket, so they know who to contact, you can purchase tickets online! Make sure you put the Academy family your are buying tickets from in the comment section.
Thank you for supporting our school! We wish you all luck in the drawing that will be held October Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 1:00 pm PDT, when the Coordinator will conduct a random drawing at the Colonnade Stage at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk park, located at 400 Beach St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The Grand Prize winner will be selected first, followed by the five $1,000 cash prize winners. Any remaining Bonus Prizes will be drawn randomly from the remaining eligible entries in the order and according to the procedures listed in Section 4 above. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
A list and description of such Bonus Prizes will be available and updated as Bonus Prizes are added at https://beachboardwalk.com/drive-for-schools/prize-list/.
